Employment
Community employment services assist persons to obtain successful community employment opportunities that are responsive to their choices and preferences. Through a strengths-based approach the program provides person-directed services/supports to individuals to choose, achieve, and maintain employment in integrated community employment settings.
Community Activities
Community Integration Services offer goal-oriented opportunities in which skills and supports are developed and maintained in a variety of settings. These services are designed to maximize a person's independence in such areas as activities of daily living, personal health and safety, socialization, community integration, communication, education, and recreation. Community Integration Service is a structured learning situation which provides participant and/or small group learning opportunities. Community outings provide a practical way of applying skills learned in a number of forms (i.e.: individualized interaction, small groups, community activities and community services).
Residential
The Community Living Program provides supervision and training, in the community, that meets and promotes the needs and skills of each participant. Homes, transitional apartments, and apartments/homes that are located in neighborhoods throughout the community provide a setting in which residents can integrate with other citizens. The program is set up with levels so there can be a logical progression to living more independently. Each level is determined by the residents’ wants and needs. The program will prepare participants for residence in the least restrictive environment possible by providing training for personal skills, daily living skills, social development skills, mobilization skills and socialization skills.
